They say a man can do anything with a truck, a dog, and a dream. Sadly this week the family made the desision to put of them down. No it wasn’t Basso, he’s still running away anytime he gets the chance, but rather we had to put down the ‘ld 91 Chevrolet Silverado 4X4. She had a good run, I’ve got plenty of great memoires in that old girl, but her time has come to go to a better place, namely Lakehead Scrap Metal.
First snowfall today and I got up bright and early to test out the scooter in the snow. Though it seemed like a good idea, it really wasn’t, and before long I put an end to that dream and just got out the sled and ripped it around. The remainder of the day was spent working on my Sedimentology term paper. There was some major conference calls going on and a few stupidly fast drives to classmate’s homes to grab data and mutually manipulate it so the numbers actually make sense. At one point late last night a couple of us thought it would be best to just kidnap the TA, lucky for her she’s super nice. We really were running low on options on how to get all the numbers correlated in a manner that might make us pass, and i'm still think the kidnap plan is a solid plan C.
I’ve been enjoying life away from cycling, its actually nice answering ‘yes’ when asked questions like: do you want to upsize your meal? And any dessert for you tonight? Well it all ends soon so I’m making the most of it. Haven’t thought much about 2011 yet, probably just give’r good and see what shakes.
Now for the tune of the week:
Don't even worry about the spelling and grammer errors
