Its been a month since the truck arrived in out driveway and holly man its been great. Took her moose hunting after exams and she plowed through the snow like a sled and more recently she pulled an F350 out of the ditch, her crowing moment for sure. The subwoofer in the back was of huge help during exams as it killed  my hearing so much I was able to concentrate during the 3h tests in The Thunder Dome.

Exams went well enough, I did enough to get into igneous processes and geochemistry, and pulled off a high enough mark in sedimentology so keep the GPA at a respectable location. This winter will be a new can of tuna as the degree of difficulty apparently goes sky high and where the majority of the dropouts occur. We’ll see.

Training has resumed to full pace, later than most but nationals is still a half year away, and if I cant get fit in 6 months then I think I need to look at other options for athletics. The time off was great, I really needed a long break away from all things athlete related and now I’ve decided it is time to get back on the ball. Neither my coach nor parents put any pressure on my to start back up and just allowed me to do my own thing and when the time was right for a training plan to be posted, then it was. I’m looking forward to 2011, I’m on a great team with great support and I think with a little elbow grease it will be something special.
